Viewing Shared Files

Centralized File List

Access the dashboard from Settings > Sharing > Shared Files Dashboard, or click the "Manage Shared Files" button in any share dialog. You'll see a comprehensive list of every file you've shared.

Dashboard Columns

File Name:The title of the shared document
Type:Shared (private) or Published (public)
Collaborators:Number of people with access

Managing Access

View Password Status

Revoke Access

Remove a collaborator's access to any shared file.

Toggle Permissions

Quick Permission Changes

Change permissions for any collaborator without opening the full share dialog. Simply click the permission badge next to their name and select the new level.

View Only

Can view the document but cannot make any changes.

Edit

Full access to view and modify the document.

Copy Shareable URLs

Quick Link Sharing

Every shared and published file has a shareable URL. Click the copy button next to any file to instantly copy its link to your clipboard. For published files, this is the public URL. For shared files, it's a direct link the collaborator can use.

Password Status

Security at a Glance

Published files show their password protection status directly in the dashboard. A lock icon indicates protection is enabled. Click on any published file to view or modify its password settings.

Password Protected

Visitors must enter a password to view this document.

Public (No Password)

Anyone with the link can view without authentication.

Revoking Access

Remove Collaborators

Remove any collaborator's access directly from the dashboard. Click the remove icon next to their name, confirm the action, and their access is revoked immediately. They will no longer be able to view or edit the file.

Bulk Revocation

To revoke all access to a file, you can also use the "Stop Sharing" option which removes all collaborators at once. This is useful when you want to make a file private again.

Regular access reviews

Check your dashboard periodically to ensure only the right people have access to your files.

Use filters effectively

Filter by 'Published' to quickly find all your public documents when you need to update or unpublish them.

Bulk management

Select multiple files to perform bulk actions like revoking access or changing permissions.

Search by collaborator

Use the search to find all files shared with a specific person by searching their name or email.
